One of Kevin’s most memorable experiences involved leading Military Family Home Loans, where he dedicated his efforts to serving military personnel and their families. In a particularly challenging case, he and his team worked tirelessly and odd hours to help a service member who was deployed to a Forward Operating Base in Afghanistan. Despite the hurdles, Kevin and his team successfully secured the loan. In a heartfelt gesture of gratitude, the service member flew a flag over the base in honor of the mortgage team and then sent the flag to the team as a gift commemorating the unique partnership forged during the loan process. This experience underscored Kevin’s commitment to service and the profound impact of his work.
As he looks forward, Kevin has set ambitious targets for his current role, aiming to grow mortgage originations to $1 billion in funding by 2028. His strategic initiatives include supporting mortgage loan officers in expanding their business volume, collaborating with Operations to enhance productivity, and building strong affinity relationships to increase lead and application volume significantly. Central to his vision is a commitment to maintaining a high standard of customer service and ensuring compliance and quality in every transaction.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Kevin is a proud single dad to four adopted children from Romania, Bulgaria and Guatemala. Kevin cherishes the time he spends with his family. In his free time, Kevin enjoys biking, fishing, golfing, and reading, as well as spending time at his cabin in Deerwood, MN. He also shares his home with a lively two-year-old St. Bernard/Poodle mix, who keeps him on his toes.
